Recently voted one of my favourite Tag Team GX alternate art Pokémon cards, this beautiful Mewtwo & Mew-GX promo was only available in the September (2019) Tag Team tins, and is currently also one of the most powerful and played GX cards in Pokémon tournaments, due to its ability to copy the attacks of other EX & GX cards. It's also worth bearing in mind that certain SM Promos that had limited releases, such as the Target store exclusive Togedemaru (SM44), will be more expensive in Europe, than it would be in the United States. At the time of writing the most expensive promo card currently available to purchase (ungraded) is the “Staff” stamped Charizard prerelease promo (SM158) which currently sits at a whopping $179.99 (USD)!Īll prices listed are accurate as of today (), for the lowest available purchase price for a copy of that promo on the popular international TCG sales website. It's important to remember this list does NOT include “Staff” stamped variants, other languages than English, or reprint holos like the General Mills cereal ones. Starting with the Rowlet (SM01) from the Alola Collection box, all the way to the Eevee (SM235) in the Pikachu-GX & Eevee-GX Special Collection box, we've seen so many amazing promo cards in the past three years of the hobby.
Pokemon star drop how to#
Your cousin teaches you how to catch pokemon. With the recent release of the Pikachu-GX & Eevee-GX Special Collection, we finally have reached the end of the Pokémon Sun & Moon Black Star Promo block, with an incredible 235 numbered promos! Let's take a closer look at the Top 5 most valuable SM Promo Cards! Your cousin and best friend follow you as you walk down the first route. You, your best friend, and your cousin are given PokeDexs, Pokeballs, and a device that will track the helicopter. Whatever you choose, your win-it-all best friend chooses the one effective against your starter and your optimistic cousin picks the one your starter is effective against. A ladder is out and a grunt snatched all the test pokeballs (not the starters). As you speak and name you cousin and best friend (Cousin is male, friend is female), a helicopter flies overhead and swoops down. You go to the lab and go up two floors to get to the roof where Professor Pine, your cousin, and best friend are waiting. Your father greets you and tells you your bestfriend and cousin were waiting for you on the lab roof. Your mom wakes you up and tells you to go downstairs. You have a bed, desk, a light, and a drawer with a T.V. The screen flashes white and shows you in your bedroom. The pokemon introduction happens and Professor Pine throws out a new pokemon. The screen turns white to make the text fade away and the black silhouette swoops by again and the screen turn black again. The screen starts black and white text appears. Your parents hug you and the intro fades to the silhouette of the legendary pokemon in the beginning with the logo. They cheer once they see you're alive and the firemen leave. You wake up again in front of your burned house with firemen and your parents surrounding you. After you get a few steps away from the door, you pass out from smoke inhalation. You cautiously hop to the floor, hoping it doesn't break. Your bed is the only part of your room that's fine. Tiny flames and smoke sit on wooden planks that used to be the wall. As the fires extinguish, the pokemon howls and flies away into the night sky. A flying shadowed pokemon is over you, not looking at you and has you covered in a shield. You awaken in a smoldered house, with falling ash like snow.
